Gold is one of the things that can be admired in ancient cultures. It has not changed over the centuries. It still shines with the same glow. Inspired by Inca art, I designed a 22K gold bracelet. In the center is a yellow diamond embedded in lapis lazuli.
Lapis lazuli was used as a decorative material since the prehistoric period. Appreciated in ancient Sumer, later in Akkad, Babylonia and Assyria. Used in Egypt during the time of the pharaohs (Tutankhamun's tomb).
The sides of the bracelet are also finished with this stone. The lower part is not made of a thong. It is blackened silver, which imitates leather in texture, but is much more resistant to weather conditions and not susceptible to deformation.
